You must complete an "Introduction to Coaching" and "Coaching Change" course before proceeding to enroll in one of the courses below.


COACHING TEAMS | ICF CERTIFIED:

Almost everything that we do in the life of the body of Christ is done with more than one person involved. This course distinguishes coaching individuals from coaching groups or coaching teams. The skills and models are different for each of these. We will focus on how to be a highly effective coach of teams in a church or denominational setting.

RELATIONAL EVANGELISM & DISCIPLESHIP COACHING (PILOT):

This is a Pilot course. The International Coaching Federation (ICF) requires a course to be piloted (tested) before it can be submitted for accreditation. Once approved by ICF, this course will give the student 4 hours of ACSTH Coach Specific Training. Student will practice relational evangelism and discipleship coaching in class with feedback by trainer and other cohort students using the teach-demonstrate-do-review training model, and learn how to apply the ICF Statement of Ethical Conduct and 11 Core Competencies into coaching. This course offers a special focus emphasis on how to use the D.R.E.A.M model and introduces the F.A.I.T.H. coaching model (Oliver). Pre-requisite: 201 Foundational Dynamics of Coaching for Results or equivalent ICF-approved course. This Pilot course is offered for free.

MARRIAGE COACHING (PILOT):

This is a Pilot course. The International Coaching Federation (ICF) requires a course to be piloted (tested) before it can be submitted for accreditation. Once approved by ICF, this course will give the student 4 hours of ACSTH Coach Specific Training. Student will practice marriage coaching in class with feedback by trainer and other cohort students using the teach-demonstrate-do-review training model, and learn how to apply the ICF Statement of Ethical Conduct and 11 Core Competencies into coaching. This course offers a special focus emphasis on how to use the D.R.E.A.M model and introduces the 1 T.H.I.N.G. coaching model for marriage and family coaching (Oliver). Pre-requisite: 201 Foundational Dynamics of Coaching for Results or equivalent ICF-approved course. This Pilot course is offered for free.

COACHING FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH | ICF CERTIFIED:

This course facilitates the coach to understand and appreciate coaching as an evangelism and discipleship relationship. Use coaching skills and the coaching process to help people move forward in faith commitments. Increase effectiveness as a catalyst for discipleship and evangelism.

Pre-requisite: 201 Foundational dynamics of Coaching for Results or equivalent ICF-approved course. This Pilot course is offered for FREE.

This 6 week online course will introduce you to the use of coaching in helping others to navigate, change, transition through transformational coaching. This course will provide an overview of the necessary skills to become an effective coach. Students will spend time developing their coaching skills.

Once approved by ICF, this course will give the student 8 hours of ACSTH Coach Specific Training. Student will practice coaching in class with feedback by trainer and other cohort students, lear how to apply the ICF statement of ethical conduct and 11 core competencies into coaching for results. Pre-requisite 201 Foundational Dynamics of Coaching for Results or equivalent ICF-Approved course this Pilot course is offered for free.

ESTABLISHING DYNAMIC RELATIONSHIPS | ICF CERTIFIED:
What does it take to develop a strong professional coaching relationship?  It takes attention to the essentials and going beyond expectations.  In CAM 502, you learn to do just that.  In this ICF-approved course, you will learn: ICF ethics and standards, how to help PBC orient around areas of strengths and high performance patterns, the ingredients for a strong first session, and how to go beyond just the doing of coaching in order to really be a coach. CAM 502 is an essential class for every coach — whether your aim is a professional coaching practice or to establish coaching relationships within your ministry or professional role.

COACH APPROACH TO CONFLICT COMPETENCE | AG CERTIFIED:

The Coach Approach to Conflict Competence course provides a comprehensive coach approaches for managing workplace conflict. This course integrates theory, practice, and exercises to help participants improve their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral coach approaches to conflict. The course gives coaches a proven, effective way to improve conflict coaching skills that can be taught to parents, volunteers, and pastoral staff. *Pre-requisite: Coaching Basics or 501 Intro to Coaching.
