About Us

AG Coaching is an initiative that exists for the purpose of facilitating a coaching culture within the Assemblies of God, built on a platform of relationships focused around the shared mission of making disciples. Believing that the skill of coaching facilitates more rapid progress in personal and ministry development, it functions under the auspices of the office of General Secretary.

To accomplish this goal the Executive Presbytery appointed two teams to oversee AG Coaching initiative: an Advisory Board, and a Task Force of coaches committed to implementing steps necessary to achieve the following goals:

1.To raise leadership levels by promoting the value and benefits of the skill of coaching

2.Establish a standard for coaching within the Assemblies of God

3.Provide training to those who desire to develop coaching competencies

4.Provide coach certification to those who wish this added credibility
